With the passage of time it is more than understandable that smartphones, like all technological products, lose speed and capabilities. However in the iPhone this has become a major problem where Apple has a lot to say about it.
As has been demonstrated on several occasions, with the new updates the older iPhones lose speed . The official explanation says that this is due to a decision with the sole intention of preventing the battery from being affected by battery degradation. However, this does not convince many and has become the solution or trick with which to skip these power limitations.
The trick is in France, for any iPhone
In recent times, France has led several fines against Apple for various reasons, among which are power limitations . That is why Apple has had to take action on the matter and has eliminated or significantly reduced those limitations in French iPhones through the software. A group of experts in China has put on the table an iPhone 7 with the original region and later with the region configured in France, to verify what they already feared.
The result has been 286,632 points on GeekBench, which increases to 298,321 points when we change the region to France. A small modification lets us see that big change that will make a difference when loading websites, opening applications and many other things throughout the day. However, this does not happen in the iPhone 12 and the latest models, since the limitations regarding “taking care of the battery” have not yet been applied.
How can we make the change?
If we are interested in getting that extra power and skipping Apple’s recommendations to take care of the battery , we will only have to enter the Settings of our iPhone> General> Language and Region, to proceed to change Spain or the one that we have configured for France . This does not have to affect the language, since they are two different aspects and in no other section of the software we will notice differences.
This change could have an effect on the battery in the long run, but for now we only know the official statement by Apple of what this could mean in the iPhone. An effect that may not matter to us rather little if we are clear that after a while, it will be necessary to change the battery in order to continue using the terminal.
