When we renew our mobile, the task of moving all our photos, videos, contacts and other files can be somewhat stressful and very slow, although in Huawei mobiles we find an interesting function that makes the task much easier from any other mobile. Passing files and all our data becomes in this way an automatic process where we don’t have to worry.
Huawei’s EMUI 10 customization layer has many added features among its possibilities that try to solve the needs of users. Among the many functions we find the possibility of improving the performance of Huawei mobiles and endless possibilities that we do not stop discovering. The tool that we show you today is available for any Huawei model, even those that still use EMUI 9.
Transfer files to Huawei mobiles from Android or iPhone
Surely you are wondering if we can use this function from other mobiles than Huawei and the answer is yes, although we will have to download the Phone Clone application on our previous mobile or from which we want to take all the data to our new Huawei mobile. In mobiles with EMUI 9 and EMUI 10 we already have this application by default and we only have to search in the tool folder of our mobile.
First of all we have to open the app on both devices and choose our operating system, because we will also be able to do it from iPhone with the application available in the App Store . Next we will choose which is the mobile from which we want to transfer the files and in the other tap on the option “this is the new phone”.
Grant permissions and choose your files
The next step is to grant permissions so that the application can pass all the files that we will choose later. Once this is done, it will show us on the screen of our mobile a QR code that we have to scan with the old mobile and then we can select everything we want to pass to the new device. The options are as follows:

After having chosen all we just have to click on the transfer button and keep the two devices close so that the connection is not lost between them. In a few minutes and depending on the number of files that we have selected, we will have on our Huawei mobile all the data from the old mobile. If we prefer, we can also store all this data with a backup copy in Huawei , although the process may be somewhat more complex.
