It’s called tonyhax and it’s extremely easy to run.
A PlayStation without chipping
The idea of this software is to allow the execution of backups without having to fiddle with the inside of the console with soldering and the placement of chips, something that would damage and break warranty stickers and make many of the units lose the value collectibles that many users have in their possession. The result is very surprising, since it only takes a certain original game and a memory card with a specific save file stored inside.
How is it done?
The process is quite simple, and the only complication could be simply in the process of copying the game to the memory card. To do this you can use a PlayStation memory card reader compatible with Windows or use a modified PS2 with third-party programs that allow the copying and export of files to memory cards (remember that you can use a PlayStation card on a PlayStation two).

On the official website you will be able to see the different versions according to region and what file is needed. Depending on the game, you will have to enter one menu or another. For example, in Tony Hawk, you just have to start the game and select the option “Create Skater”. In Crash Bandicoot games you just have to press “Load game” and in Cool Boarders 4 you will only have to enter the “1 player” mode.
By selecting these options, the exploit will come into play and display a screen inviting you to change discs. It will be at that time that you can use a backup.

The process of copying the files to the memory card might be a bit confusing, but the good news is that if you can find a card with the files already copied, you’ll only need to use a PlayStation to duplicate the files from the original card to a second card.
