Google, as one of the most significant companies globally, plays an essential role in facilitating internet searches and providing numerous free services, including Google Maps and the entire Google Drive suite. However, are you familiar with all the ways to maximize what Google offers? Let’s explore and analyze these opportunities below.
Customize the Gmail interface
Gmail is the preferred email service for many users, offering a high level of customization. To personalize it according to your preferences, simply go to the Application Settings and locate the Messages and Meet options. By deactivating both, you can free up valuable screen space on your iPhone.

Furthermore, you have the flexibility to customize the messages you receive and their corresponding notifications. Navigate to Settings and access inbox customization to add or remove certain functions. It is recommended to remove promotions, as this is where unwanted emails usually end up.
Additionally, you can determine the order in which messages appear in your tray, whether it’s by importance, unread status, or other features. To achieve this, once again, go to Settings. This feature allows you to organize your messages efficiently.
Schedule and snooze emails
In Gmail, we have the option to schedule messages, giving us the flexibility to send them at our desired time. The platform offers four predefined options: tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon, Monday morning, or a custom date and time of our choice.

Moreover, when we receive an email, we can postpone reading and responding to it until a more suitable moment. To do this, simply tap on the message and select the “Postpone” option, where you can choose a specific time. In the inbox’s snooze settings, we can also schedule responses for tomorrow, the afternoon, or even the weekend.
Another intriguing feature is the “Confidential Shipping Mode.” By enabling this mode, the recipient won’t be able to forward, copy, download, or print the message. Additionally, we can set a password for the message, using either a standard password or an SMS-based verification process. This ensures secure and restricted access to the content.
Automatic messages
This feature is particularly useful, especially during the summer when vacations are around the corner. Gmail allows us to set up automatic messages, informing recipients that we are currently on vacation and will respond to their emails once we return.
We have the flexibility to specify the exact days when we’ll be away, and we can add a personalized text explaining our absence from work. Moreover, we have the option to determine whether this automatic response is sent only to our contacts or to everyone who emails us.

Another valuable aspect worth enabling is the “shipment tracking.” This feature provides information about the status of our packages and orders. While Apple has attempted to implement this in Wallet, Google’s implementation is more robust and reliable, ensuring that we stay updated on our deliveries.
