TikTok, launched in September 2016, has gained popularity almost worldwide and now has more than 1.2 billion active users worldwide. In recent hours, more and more users are showing their complaints regarding the problems of one of its most relevant functions , the Likes.
Many people are concerned that the likes of the famous video platform disappear or they cannot see who likes their posts.
Problems on TikTok in recent months
It has been in the last few months that the problems have gotten bigger with user complaints that sponsored ads are excessive and intrusive. There have also been many others who have complained that they cannot send direct messages because their accounts are automatically set to private. The problems do not stop happening in the video social network.
Now, users are reporting a new issue that is of great concern to them, especially some of them. These are complaints that likes are not showing on videos. What is such basic functionality should work, based on their complaints, and they don’t understand what’s going on. Also, in a time when likes are for many a clear indicator of success or what really matters to them, the problem is quite important. Some users tried restarting and reinstalling the app to see if this helped them, but it didn’t help at all. They demand a quick fix, or to know what is going on.

In fact, on Twitter we can find several posts in which users are wondering if it happens to someone else , and one even claims that it has happened since the last update of the famous application.

If it happens to you too, check your internet connection, try to free up storage on your device to have more space, restart your phone, check your privacy settings and update to the latest version of TikTok if you haven’t already. However, it will most likely not work for you because it is a widespread problem.
For now, there is no official confirmation from the company that the famous application does not show the number of likes in the videos of its users, or some of them, so it is most likely that we will have to wait for that this say something or solve the problem as soon as possible.
