In fact, it seems that the OPPO Reno5 series is so developed that the alleged key specifications of the OPPO Reno5 Pro, the best of all the models in this future family, have been seen by the Chinese TENAA.
It had recently been revealed that the mobile brand had been working on a phone identified with the model number PEGM00 / PEGT00, but now another device with the model number PDSM00 / PDST00 has appeared on TENAA, which is speculated that it could be the Reno5 Pro. For this reason, the previous one could be another model of the family such as the Reno5 or the Reno5 Z.
Features of the possible OPPO Reno5 Pro
Recently, this same phone was discovered by Geekbench with a Dimensity 1000+ processor, from Mediatek on board along with 8 GB of RAM and the Android 11 operating system. In addition, it has also been leaked that, following in the wake of the higher OPPO models range launched on the market this 2020, it would be equipped with support for fast charging of 65W.
The new information on the smartphone that appears in the TENAA does not provide many more specifications but it does allow us to know the dimensions of the OPPO Reno 5 Pro , which will be 159.7 x 73.2 x 7.6 mm and which will accommodate a 6.55-inch screen, a 2,215 mAh dual-cell battery that would total nearly 4500 mAh and 5G support.
At the moment we do not have information about its processor but speculations speak that the brand uses a Snapdragon 865. It is something that we must question because the best Qualcomm processors, OPPO usually uses them in its Find family, with the Reno being a step below, but we do not know if the firm intends to change its strategy next year.
At the power level, we know what to expect from the phone thanks to its passage through Geekbench. There the device scored 2857 points in the single-core test and 6574 in the multi-core test. This makes us doubt that the brand will finally mount the Qualcomm processor and finally opt for the option, more limited in performance but also cheaper from MediaTek.
At the moment, it is too early to advance a specific release date for all models in the Reno5 series .
