Since less than a week ago Marvel Studios, with Kevin Feige at the helm, unveiled the company’s plans for the coming years, all kinds of theories have been unleashed about what we can see in some of the announced franchises. And the Fantastic Four is one of those that needs a lot of love because the films that have come along in the last 20 years have been to be eaten apart, with levels of quality (film and lore ) that were very far than expected by fans.
The possible villains of The Fantastic Four
The fact is that those same Marvel fans have once again renewed their hopes around this group of superheroes commanded by Mr. Fantastic and made up of the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch and the Thing that, if there are no new pandemics or worsen wars and crises, will return to theaters on November 8, 2024.
The fact is that just a few months ago, at the beginning of May, we could already see a first preview of what awaits us from The Fantastic 4 in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , when the protagonist travels to a world within another universe and they are seen with some Illuminati where Reed Richards is present, who is played by John Krasinski. I mean, Mr. Fantastic.
So now, far from stopping at the protagonists that we already know who they will be, we are going to look at the comics to understand what dangers these superheroes could face and that, in addition, they make sense within the Marvel Studios MCU. Do you think there are many? Take a look at our candidates:
Mole Man

One of the most ridiculous villains that the Marvel company has. This scientist-turned-supervillain we think he could be a good introductory antagonist for the superteam, provided Kevin Feige’s decide he doesn’t have much of a run in the MCU.
Super Skrull

This villain is one of those who would make the most sense within the UCM. The Super Skrull is the leader of this race of aliens, with the special ability to copy superpowers, and with Secret Invasion just around the corner… we see it very possible!
Annihilus

One of the most powerful villains in the entire Marvel universe. This cosmic entity with a thirst for conquest could fit in with galactic story arcs of the characters, since in terms of power it is very similar to the Celestials.
Galactus

Although we would love to see the Devourer of Worlds in the near future, we believe that Marvel Studios reserves him as the great antagonist of a hypothetical… Phase 9?, since he is one of the most powerful entities in the Marvel Universe of comics.
Doctor Doom

The quintessential villain of The Fantastic Four is the one we think could make his debut in the MCU before , because this character has sometimes served as Loki, who sometimes collaborates with the heroes, but always looking for his own benefit, and It would be a good idea if it had years of development. In fact, there are rumors that we could see him as early as November of this year in Black Panther Wakanda Forever.
What do you want, right?
