Zoom, the great weakness of the Pixel 7 camera
Among its main drawbacks, we can find shadow noise in scenes with high contrast and low light , both in photo and video. Cons such as indoor video color tones and clipping in indoor lighting are also highlighted. Slight ringing, flickering, and hue shifting can also be seen in images.
Its camera manages to rival the most powerful Pixel 7 Pro range model, since they have the same main camera and vary slightly in the ultra-wide angle. It doesn’t have a telephoto lens like the Pixel 7 Pro, and this may be one of its shortcomings, but you won’t notice it too much in the final result when it comes to getting a great imaging experience.
