If the Xiaomi MIUI layer is known for something, it is for the multitude of options that they add to mobile phones, some of them easier to use than others and this time we show you one of the ones that cannot cost more, but it offers us more options . This Xiaomi camera trick is only intended to test the new possibilities that MIUI will offer us, as they may contain bugs.
The process to activate the camera options will be done in a simple way with our explanation, which allows us to obtain options that would otherwise be impossible to use in the mobile camera. Luckily for all users or the vast majority, these options are accessible for MIUI 10, MIUI 11 and MIUI 12. We will not also depend on a high-performance or mid-range mobile, since everyone can take advantage of it, including the Redmi or the Little models.
Steps to activate special camera options
Before starting the process, we have to use a computer or a file manager from the Google Play application store. Not just anyone is valid and that is why we do not use the one that comes by default in MIUI, as a personal recommendation we offer you EZ File Explorer , which allows us all the steps that we must perform. Follow the steps carefully and don’t forget any:
- We start by downloading and installing EZ File Explorer or another manager with the ability to create files.
- Then we access it.
- We follow the following path: Internal memory> DCIM> Camera.
- Once inside we touch on the options and click on “Add new” or “Create file”.
- As a name we put: lab_options_visible
- We click on accept and exit the app.
The next thing we will do is close all multitasking applications and in some cases it will also be necessary to restart the mobile.
Use MIUI camera locked options
Once we have followed all the previous steps, we will only have to access the camera application, touch on the three points and access the settings of the native Xiaomi camera. A small message will appear with the text “Experimental Feature” which means that MIUI‘s experimental options are activated.
If we go down we will find at the end of everything with each and every one of the following options, which may vary slightly in some models. We also explain what each of them is for:

Internal magic tools : activates internal tools to improve the quality of photos and videos.

Face detection : the mobile camera can recognize the face and frame it in a box to improve the result.

Hide face detection frame automatically : this option hides the box that appears when activating the previous option but keeps the improvements.

Beautify in Portrait mode : Activate beauty mode in all camera modes.

Turn on dual camera : turn on dual camera to enhance photos.

Turn on dual SAT camera – currently does not have a user function.

Turn on MFNR : when activated, the device takes 6 consecutive shots which when superimposed and eliminate the noise from the photo.

Turn on SR : with this option the resolution of the image is enlarged as if the sensor of the mobile were larger.

Turn on quick shot animation : activate the quick shot animation in the app.
