Show where you are in real time
First of all, you will have to open the application and sign in , although you will most likely have it signed in.
- Go to your Profile (the image on the top right)
- Give to Share location
- Choose if you want to share for 1 hour (you can add more or less hours by clicking the + button) or Until the option is deactivated
If you are asked to confirm permissions you will need to do so. Once you have done this, you can send it to a specific contact by selecting or searching for it (by Google Maps or by link), by SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, Gmail and more.
You decide how and when to send your location to other people for a minimum period of 15 minutes , maximum of one day or until you deactivate the option. They will see your name and photo, as well as your real location in Google services, even if you don’t use Maps.

If you get a warning that it does not allow you to use it when you open the function, it may be that you are in a region or country where it is not possible to share, that you are too young (those under 18 will not be able to share the location more than 24 hours). ), or the feature isn’t available on your Google Workspace domain. In the latter case you will have to talk to the administrator.
How to stop sharing location
