Activating this capture, when we have just opened the camera and pressed the shutter button, not only will we save the photograph that we have just taken, but four others prior to the moment of shooting.
This means that in that time interval between which we have opened the camera and we have shot the phone, he has taken those photos so that we do not lose any detail.
In this way, if we have to capture, for example, our little one making funny gestures, or the flight of a seagull over us, when we press the fire button, the Xperia will have already taken four photos before . These are then shown in the gallery with an icon that indicates that they are part of a predictive capture. By pressing, we can always choose the image we like the most, and automatically delete the rest. Or keep all of them and store them individually in the Xperia gallery. All predictive captures will be differentiated in the gallery with an icon consisting of four rectangles
How active?
Too easy. For this what we must be clear is that it is something that only works with the automatic photography mode . In this way it is possible to access the predictive capture setting. If so, what we should do is open the Sony Xperia camera app and do the following:
- Click on the settings button in the upper right, shaped like a nut
- Select Predictive Capture
- Click on “Auto”
In this way, predictive capture will be activated on your Sony Xperia phone. From now on, when you open the camera, if there is movement in front, it will be captured a second before you take the photo .
Obviously, if motion is not detected, predictive capture will not take place. As in the case that there is movement and we do not press the shutter button, there will also be no image capture.
