At the beginning of this month we discovered, thanks to the Google Play Console, that Xiaomi is working on the launch of new smartphones before the end of the year. Today it has been confirmed that one of them, the Redmi 9 Power , will be launched in India on December 17 with the battery as its great incentive.
The company has just confirmed the release date of the next Redmi 9 series device, which will join the Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C as one of Xiaomi’s cheapest mobiles. Like the Moto G9 Power and other phones that acquire this surname, its main feature will be a high-capacity battery.

Shaping the cheap Xiaomi mobile with more battery
We do not have to investigate too much to know some of the details of this new smartphone, since Xiaomi’s own page where the launch of the phone has been advanced indicates that the Redmi 9 Power will have a triple camera with a 48 sensor on the back. MP in the lead. It would also have a Snapdragon processor, high-resolution audio and, above all, a huge battery.
These characteristics suggest that this new Redmi 9 Power would once again be a smartphone that we already know, only renamed. This time around it would be the same renowned Redmi Note 9 4G that was recently unveiled in China alongside the new Redmi Note 9 5G series.
If it were the same phone, its battery would be 6,000 mAh , the largest in the entire series and the reason for choosing this surname “Power”. In addition, a fast charge of 18W would be added. This cell would be responsible for supporting a mobile equipped with a 6.53-inch FullHD + screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and 400 nits of brightness.
The Qualcomm processing that we mentioned earlier would be Snapdragon 662 that would be accompanied by two memory configurations: one of 4GB + 64GB and the other of 4 + 128GB. The camera that we advanced a few lines further back would be configured with a 48MP primary sensor followed by an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Other details that would star the new Redmi 9 model would be the presence of MIUI 12, based on Android 10 as the operating system, 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio, microSD card slot, dual-band Wi-Fi compatibility and Bluetooth 5.0.
