Solution to OPPO Mobile Problems with Sound

Sound is a very important section of our mobile. However, once in a while we run into problems that can ruin our experience, and that can make us not hear incoming calls, or that watching movies or playing is a real torture. Luckily, most of the sound problems of OPPO phones have their solution at our fingertips.

Solution to OPPO Mobile Problems with Sound

When we have sound problems, there are several common flaws that we can experience. The most serious of all is to hear absolutely nothing , that our mobile does not make any sound. But it is also possible that it is heard too low or the quality is not as desired. Let’s look at the solutions for each of these assumptions.

Nothing is heard

Our mobile does not ring when they call us, games or videos are not heard and notifications do not warn of new messages. In this case, we must verify several points to try to find the error and put a solution.

Check configuration

In Settings / Sound and vibration, we must drag all the sliders to the right to increase the volume. Although it seems obvious, it is one of the most common causes that can lead to a false problem with sound.

Do not disturb mode

When this feature is activated, all system sounds will be disabled and not even incoming calls will ring. To verify that we do not have Do Not Disturb Mode activated, we will have to go to Settings / Do Not Disturb and verify that it is deactivated.

Connected accessories

We must verify the connected accessories. In the case of headphones, we must verify that their connection is firm so that the sound is reproduced correctly . Also, if we are connected in Bluetooth, we may need to unpair the device and re-pair it so that the sound plays again without problem. To deactivate the connection we go to Settings / Bluetooth and deactivate the box.

It sounds too low

In this case we also have several possible solutions to the different factors that can cause this problem.

Dirt on the phone

The phone will not ring correctly in case the speakers are dirty. Dust usually blocks sound output over time . To fix it we will have to clean the speaker with a clean brush with soft bristles or a cotton swab.

Locking the speaker and microphone

We have to make sure that nothing blocks the microphone or speaker, like the phone case or fingers. Metal casings can affect the degree of reception of the phone signal . In that case we will have to remove the mobile phone case or the screen protector that could block the receiver. Then we will have to test if the problem has disappeared.

Poor quality sound

In this case, the phone rings and sounds at the desired volume , but its quality leaves a lot to be desired and is far from what you might expect.

When making or receiving a call

If we hear noises, cracks or static sounds during a call, we will have to verify several aspects to try to solve the problem:

  • Check the location : we must check the network signal and in case of being in a poor coverage area, it is the cause of the problems. We can always go to the Network / settings and change the network type to GSM or 3G to try to improve the stability of the network.
  • Adjust volume and mode : Another solution is to adjust the volume with the volume buttons during phone calls.
  • Restart and update: first we will have to press the volume button to restart the mobile and then check if we have any pending update that may have improved the quality experience on calls. To do this we go to Settings / System Updates.

App to improve quality

A solution that also works to improve quality is to download a third-party app that offers more sound customization options and a powerful equalizer. Just below we leave you with one of these applications, which has a custom 16-band equalizer and more than 29 presets including three-dimensional sound. You can download it for free from the direct link to Google Play that we leave you just below.

Test the sound

OPPO has a testing tool that will allow us to detect the sound problem in the event that none of the above has worked. For this we will have to enter the “Manager” application and select the quick check option. Then we uncheck all the options except the sound one, which is what interests us. Subsequently, the mobile will perform various tests to determine if there is a hardware or software problem and will offer us the results in a few seconds.
