Organizing our lock screen to our liking before was almost impossible, leaving us only freedom to change the wallpaper and little else. The new Samsung phones added the possibility of customizing the Always On screen as long as you have an AMOLED display, but any brand phone can fix your favorite apps on the lock screen .
We refer to those icons that appear in the lower bar of the screen when the mobile is protected by Pin or password. By sliding from each of the corners we will enable the application fixed at each end, the phone app (on the left) and the camera app (on the right) being set by default.
What happens if we do not want to use either of these two apps, but any other? Easy and simple, we can choose the one we want.
Change the apps fixed on the lock screen
To change the phone and camera app for any other app installed on your phone, all you have to do is access the huge One UI settings panel and locate the lock screen settings . This is where you will find wallpaper services, the possibility to change the clock style, add contact information for emergencies or, what interests us most now, the configuration of shortcuts.
Once inside, at the bottom, you must locate the settings for the Left Shortcut (which by default has the aforementioned phone app) and the Right Shortcut (that of the camera).
Pressing on any of them will open the entire catalog of applications that you have installed on your mobile, being able to choose from all of them which ones you want to open by sliding your finger from each of the lower corners. Some like Flashlight or Do not disturb mode could not be configured because they have a different access.
You can also change its location
If you don’t like that the gesture to open these apps from the lock screen is by sliding from the corners, you can change their location. Instead of moving it to another end of the screen, what we do in this case is to enable a floating button that groups these accesses to our favorite apps . By unlocking the phone with the fingerprint and holding a second, all the chosen applications will appear, either system or downloaded from the Play Store.
