Without a doubt, it is the great concern of all those who release a mobile phone, not to lose the data that our previous terminal contained. This is something that is now easier than ever, because there are different tools that allow us to avoid this loss of data by changing mobile phones with a good backup .
In the end, it is a mixture of system settings and apps that can help us to keep safe all those data that we have generated in the previous terminal, and that logically we fear losing. Now with the existence of the cloud, the consequences of changing to a new mobile can be minimized.
Activate Android backup on your previous mobile
The best thing you can do is activate the native Android backup, which is the one that will automatically allow the configuration of your current phone to be transferred to the new one without any problem.

What about the photos?
In the same section of the Android backup, we can also activate the backup of the photos . Something that can be done through Google Photos, both from this setting and from the Google Photos app itself.
By activating the backup of photos, when you log in to the new phone with your Google account, all the photos and videos that you had in the cloud saved from the previous phone, will be accessible from our new phone. Within the Google Photos settings, in the first option, we find the possibility of activating the backup, which in the “high quality” mode will be unlimited.
Phone contacts
You can also restore all the contacts from our previous phone, as long as we have activated the backup of these.
For this you must open the contacts app, and inside, in the settings, enter the section “contact sync settings” where we can activate the automatic synchronization of all of them. When doing so, all the contacts of the previous telephone will be transferred to the new one.
WhatsApp chats and multimedia content
With the messaging app we also have the possibility to restore all the messages that we have written, as well as all the images and videos that they attach. All this thanks to the backup tool that we can find in the app. To access it we must click on the settings from the main chat screen. Here click on the chat section and then enter the “backup” section .
From here you can configure the backup, every how many days it is done and with the Google Drive account where it is stored. In this way, when you launch a new mobile, you only have to verify your phone number to have all the messages available in the WhatsApp backup on the new mobile, as if nothing had changed.
From Google Play you can reinstall all your favorite apps
Although when starting the phone configuration wizard it is likely that we can choose the apps to restore, we can do it proactively from Google Play, for this we must go to the “my applications and games” section and click on “collection” where you are going To see all the apps that have ever been installed on your previous phone, now you just have to select the ones you want to install and start installing all of them at once.
Make a backup on the microSD card
With the app “Backup your mobile” you can easily back up the data from your Android mobile to a microSD card integrated in the phone.
Once installed, you just have to configure the terms of the copy and wait for it to take place. When we have a new mobile, with the same microSD card installed and the app installed, we can recover the backup of the card and download it to the internal memory of our new phone.
