Redmi Note 10 Pro vs Poco X3 NFC: All Their Differences

It is not the first nor will it be the last time that we face two Xiaomi terminals. The portfolio of the Chinese company is so wide that it can be difficult to decide between several models when making a purchase. For this reason we are going to take a look between the new Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Poco X3 NFC , to see the main differences between one and the other.

Xiaomi models constantly follow one another between the famous Mi, and the Redmi and Poco models. All of them have an excellent quality / price ratio. The technical advances are being amazing, since features that until very recently were reserved for the high-end, we can now find them in mid-range devices with a much more competitive price. This is precisely the case of the two protagonists of today’s comparison.

Screen, weight and thickness

As is usual, the first thing we look at is the screen of both devices, and it is striking that both have a traced size of 6.67 inches with FullHD + resolution, an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and Gorilla protection. Glass 5. But there are a couple of differences to take into account, the first is that the Redmi Note 10 Pro has an AMOLED screen, while in the Poco X3 NFC it is IPS LCD. In any case, both have a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro has managed to speed up the relationship between the screen and the frames slightly better, reaching 85.6% of the usable front, while its brother of Poco reaches 84.6%. If we take into account the weight and thickness, the award goes to the Redmi, which puts the weight limit at 193 grams and 8.1 millimeters thick, citrons that far exceeds the Poco X3 NFC with its 9.4 millimeters and 215 grams .

Traced processors

Even if we lift the hood, it is difficult to find significant technical differences between the two terminals. They both integrate the Snapdragon 732G, which leaves them anchored in the world of 4G forever. Both are available in 64 and 128 GB versions, and with 6 GB of RAM. In this sense, the performance of both terminals is traced, since both move in the range of 300,000 points, according to the famous AnTuTu performance program.

The internal memory is expandable in both cases by microSD cards . However, if we look closely, we see that the Redmi Note 10 Pro supports the UFS 2.2 standard, while the Poco X3 NFC supports UFS 2.1. This gives the Redmi Note 10 Pro a slight file read / write advantage, which can be practically negligible.

Snapdragon

108 vs 64 megapixels

Let’s go around these two teams to see what we find. Four cameras in each but very different conceptions. The Redmi Note 10 Pro sports a 108-megapixel main sensor , an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and 5 and 2 megapixel macro and depth sensors respectively. The Poco X3 NFC goes down a notch in muscle, with a 64-megapixel main sensor , but increasing the ultra-wide-angle sensor to 13 megapixels. Complete the foursome with two macro and depth sensors of 2 megapixels each.

On the front, both have a hole to house the front sensor. In the case of the Redmi Note 10 Pro it is a 16 megapixel sensor, while the Poco has a 20 megapixel sensor. As for video recording, we will not find differences either, since the two teams can record in 4K at 30 fps, but only the Redmi can record in FullHD at 60fps , while the Poco X3 stays at 30fps. The two record in slow motion at 120 fps in FullHD and up to 960 fps in 702p resolution.

Connectivity, battery and OS

As we say, none have 5G connectivity, but they have other connections such as Bluetooth 5.1, NFC or USB-C . More coincidences in that the two maintain the 3.5mm headphone jack, that they have stereo speakers and that they have a fingerprint sensor located on a side button. The Redmi Note 10 Pro has 5,020 mAh of battery compatible with 33W charging, the same as the Poco X3 NFC, but reaching up to 5,160 mAh. The two are currently moving with MIUI 12 based on Android 11, and they still have (except surprise) a long journey in terms of updates.

Prices and conclusion

We are facing one of the most complicated purchase decisions, taking a look at the mere technical aspect of both terminals. However, the 108 megapixel sensor of the Redmi Note 10 Pro may be too tempting for many. The price can help us in this case, since the Poco X3 NFC has been going down in price and we can buy it from 175 euros. The Redmi Note 10 Pro, like all recently arrived mobile phones, will maintain its initial price for a while, starting at 279 euros.
