Redmi AirDots 3 Pro: Xiaomi’s New TWS Bluetooth Headphones

Xiaomi continues to expand its range of TWS Bluetooth headphones. A few days ago they presented their most advanced wireless headphones with the Flipbuds Pro to compete with models like the AirPods Pro . Today, they have announced the most advanced headphones in the Redmi range, with spectacular specifications for their low price.

Along with two new mobiles, Xiaomi today announced the new headphones on which they had been publishing some advances for a few days. The new Redmi AirDots 3 Pro are Redmi’s first headphones with active noise cancellation, capable of reducing up to 35 dB of ambient noise to enjoy maximum silence even in the city. They also have the transparent sound mode, which lets in ambient noise to be able to have a conversation with someone without having to take them off.

Just 69 ms latency thanks to Bluetooth 5.2

To achieve that noise cancellation, the headphones have three microphones, which also guarantees a clear sound when we use them to make calls. Latency is minimal too, reaching just 69 milliseconds thanks to faster and more efficient codecs and the use of the latest Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

Thus, to achieve such low latency, it is essential that the mobile we use has Bluetooth 5.2. This standard also offers the possibility of connecting the headphones to two devices at the same time, such as a computer or a mobile phone. Thanks to this, they can be used with the computer, and if we receive a call on the mobile, we can answer it without having to change devices.

Each earbud weighs 4.9 grams, while inside the charging case the total weight is 55 grams. The headphones have IPX4 resistance to splashes, ideal for use while doing sports, resisting condensation, sweat and even rain.

6 hours of battery life, and fast charge in one hour

Internally, the headphones use 9mm dynamic drivers, tuned by the Xiaomi Sound Lab. Each earbud has a 6-hour battery life without noise cancellation activated, which can be extended up to 28 hours with the charging case. . The headphones take an hour to fully charge, and the case takes 2.5 hours. This case has wireless charging, in addition to also having a USB connector to charge them with a charger or from the mobile itself. Sound quality is also guaranteed thanks to being compatible with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res sound.

The AirDots 3 Pro will be on sale from June 11 at a promotional price of 299 yuan, about 38 euros to change. After the launch, its price will rise to 349 yuan, about 45 euros at the change. They will be available in two colors: ash gray and obsidian black .

The price of these headphones keeps rising, and we already have more options to choose from. We currently have three well-differentiated ranges, with the Redmi Airdots 2 as the cheapest, and the Redmi AirDots 3 as the most balanced midway through, and which were announced last February.
