Redmi 9 Power, Xiaomi’s New Cheap Mobile that Stands out for Its Battery

Since a few days ago we have been collecting a series of leaks of a new member of the Redmi 9 family that, finally, has been presented today. The Redmi 9 Power, as its name suggested, arrives in stores with the battery as a great incentive, but it is not the only feature in which the new phone stands out.

After multiple leaks and advances, Redmi has launched what appears to be Xiaomi‘s latest device for 2020, although knowing the firm still has two more weeks to surprise us. As expected, the phone is still a modified version of the new Redmi Note 9 4G that was launched in China last month with slight changes to the design and camera settings of the device.

As for the hardware, the Redmi 9 Power is presented on the Asian continent with a 6.53-inch Full HD + screen that has a notch in the shape of a drop of water on the top. This panel has a 60Hz refresh rate. and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Under the hood, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor running at up to 2GHz, paired with configurations that boast either 64GB or 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. Its battery, the most outstanding element of the set, sports a 6,000 mAh cell with an 18 W fast charger that should offer enough autonomy to exceed two days without major problem.

And when it comes to cameras, the phone has a quad setup with a 48-megapixel primary lens set alongside an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel focus assist lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. . The phone also comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the top of the screen.

This model also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, a fingerprint reader on the side, a USB Type-C port, and Android 10 running under MIUI 12.

Price and possible date of sale in Spain

The Redmi Note 9 Power goes on sale from next week in India in two versions.

  • Redmi 9 Power with 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM: 10,999 Rs, that is, 140 euros to change
  • Redmi 9 Power with 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM: Rs 11,999, that is, a little more than 150 euros to change

Both variants are available in four colors, Mightly Black, Fiery Red, Electric Green and Blazing Blue and it is possible that they will arrive in Spain early next month to complete the Redmi 9 series of cheap phones from Xiaomi .
