What the screen and memory figures mean
A 120 Hz refresh-rate limit does not mean that every app or game runs at 120 frames per second. The large screen also has a lower pixel resolution than a Full HD panel. Compare text sharpness and brightness in person if those are priorities.
Xiaomi’s “up to 16 GB” memory claim includes memory extension on the 8 GB model. Part of the storage is used for this feature; it is not 16 GB of physical RAM. Check physical RAM and storage separately on the listing.
Check charging and battery claims carefully
Support for 18W charging does not establish a full-charge time. Charging speed depends on the adapter, cable, battery level and temperature. The older article’s claim of a full charge in under an hour was not supported by a measured test and has been removed.
Check whether a suitable charger is included in your region. Xiaomi’s product page describes its own laboratory battery figures; those are not a promise of two days of use for every owner.
Before you buy a new or used unit
- Match the exact model, physical RAM, storage and mobile bands to the seller’s listing.
- Check the current local price, warranty and return policy. The 2024 prices and promotion in the old guide are not current offers.
- Check Xiaomi’s current support information for the model, and inspect the installed security-update date.
- For a used phone, check battery condition, charging, cameras, account locks and the screen.
