With Realme something similar to what has been happening with Xiaomi begins to happen to us: it is increasingly difficult to opt for one model or another of its increasingly broad portfolio. The launches are constantly happening, which fills us with doubts when buying a new mobile. One of those purchasing decisions that is not easy has as protagonists the Realme X3 SuperZoom and the Realme X2 Pro .
We are facing two high-end terminals that have some common elements, but in which we will find key differences to balance the purchase to one side or the other. It should be clear that the Realme X3 SuperZoom has the logical advantages of having been released to the market several months after the Realme X2 Pro.
Screen and dimensions
If we trust the screen of both terminals we see that the panel of the Realme X3 SuperZoom offers a size of 6.6 inches, compared to the 6.5 inches of the X2 Pro. Both have a FullHD + resolution, but the new X3 SuperZoom reaches a rate of 120Hz refresh, while the X2 Pro goes up to 90Hz. Both are protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and feature an aspect ratio of 20: 9.
As for the dimensions and weight, both terminals are very similar, but the Realme X3 SuperZoom is somewhat heavier with its 202 grams and 8.9 millimeters thick. The X2 Pro weighs 199 grams and is 8.7 millimeters thick. We are facing a difference that the user will hardly perceive either in the pocket or in the hand.
Same brain, same memory
When we raise the hood there is no worthwhile battle or doubts. Both integrate the powerful Snapdragon 855+ , the most powerful processor for Android of 2019, which ensures them to be at the highest levels of performance on the current scene, with the permission of mobiles with the Snapdragon 865. In addition, both have a Configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, compatible with the UFS 3.0 standard, which increases the overall fluidity of the system.
They lead the 64 megapixels
Going around the two terminals, we see four rear cameras on each team. Connections, battery and SO
The two terminals have the main connections, including NFC or security thanks to the integrated fingerprint sensor on the screen. However, they lack 5G connectivity. The battery of the X3 SuperZoom reaches 4,200 mAh compatible with 30W fast charge , while the X2 Pro has 4,000 mAh but with a higher fast charge of 50W.
It is important to note that the realme X3 SuperZoom is a native realme UI terminal , that is, it is born with Android 10 and will possibly come to glimpse two updates of the operating system . The realme X2 Pro came with Android 9 Pie and has already been upgraded to realme UI with Android 10, but perhaps we can only wait for one more OS update.
At the same price
At the moment, we find both terminals at the same price, that is, 499 euros . Taking into account the differences we have seen before and if the Realme X2 Pro does not suffer a substantial reduction, it is very possible that the balance will settle on the side of the X3 SuperZoom.
