Realme has started the year with a presentation, which we already had marked on the calendar. After several weeks of rumors and various leaks, the new Realme V15 is now official. We are facing a new mid-range device with 5G connectivity, which sports other interesting technical features and which we will see below.
During the weeks leading up to the end of the year, we were witnessing various leaks of a mysterious Realme terminal called “Koi”, shortly after we learned that we were facing the new Realme V15, and now we can also confirm that Koi refers to one of the color variants in which the terminal arrives.

Its technical characteristics
The terminal has a design that stands out for its gradient colors and a screen with a hole to house the front sensor. The new V15 sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with a maximum brightness of 600 nits, and a touch sampling frequency of 180 Hz. This screen also has an integrated fingerprint reader. In addition, the device has IP protection, being resistant to water and dust. We also see that it is compatible with Hi-Res sound technology, which achieves a purer and clearer audio quality.
Brain MediaTek 5G
The Realme V15 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U brain , manufactured in a 7nm process and equipped with a 5G modem. The company will offer it in options of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of internal memory.
Triple camera with 64MP
At the rear we find a triple rear camera module, with a 64 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens. On the front, it has a 16 megapixel selfie sensor with artificial intelligence and compatible with HDR. The Realme V15 is also capable of recording video in 4K, and has the UIS (Ultra Image Stabilization) system, in addition to being able to capture slow motion videos in FullHD at 120 fps.
Battery and fast charging
As for its battery, it has 4,310 mAh, and it supports 50W fast charging technology. This means that it can charge up to 50% of its capacity in just 18 minutes, according to data provided by Realme. It does not lack the main connections
Price and date of sale
The Realme V15 will go on sale in China from January 14 in silver, blue and the so-called Koi in yellow tones. The price of the variant of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB is 1,499 yuan (about 190 euros), while the most complete version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, reaches 1,999 yuan (about 250 euros) . At the moment we do not know Realme’s plans in terms of its international marketing, but we would be delighted to see this mid-range in our market to begin the battle of 2021
