Realme 6 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi Note 10: Differences and Advantages

Realme did not hide when they claimed that they came to Europe to stand up to Xiaomi. The strategy is being to launch very aggressive terminals in terms of their quality / price ratio, a flank in which until now, no one could “cough” Xiaomi. Today we wanted to take a close look at two devices from both brands such as the Realme 6 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi Note 10.

There are many differences between the two devices , standing out from each other in several key ways. In addition, their prices are also quite far away, so depending on the needs of each user, opting for one or the other could be a fairly easy task.

Screen and dimensions

The first big difference is found on the screen, where the realme 6 Pro has an advantage over its rival. The realme 6 Pro features a FullHD + panel that reaches 6.6 inches and has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, an attribute reserved until recently for the high-end. For its part, the Mi Note 10 has a 6.47-inch panel, which also reaches FullHD + resolution but does not have advanced refresh technology.

As for the weight and thickness of both terminals, we see that the realme 6 Pro also comes out on top of the weighing with its 202 grams and 8.9 millimeters of weight. Possibly due to its larger battery, the Mi Note 10 reaches 208 grams and a considerable thickness of 9.67 millimeters.

Processor and memory

Under the hood we find the Qualcomm seal on both devices. The realme 6 Pro integrates the Snapdragon 720G, while the Mi Note 10 does the same with the Snapdragon 730G. The Xiaomi chipset is more advanced in performance and is something that has a greater impact on its most powerful GPU. However, on a daily basis both terminals will perform similarly, noting this difference with the most demanding games on the market.

Snapdragon 730G

The realme 6 Pro comes with variants of 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The Mi Note 10 only offers a variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. In both cases they have UFS 2.1 reading technology to lighten the opening of files and system processes.

12 cameras between the two

The Mi Note 10 is the first Xiaomi mobile and one of the few on the market to have no less than five rear cameras. It leads a main 108 megapixel sensor, accompanied by two 12 and 5 megapixel telephoto lenses, a 20 megapixel wide angle sensor and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. At the front and housed in a small notch, we find a 32 megapixel selfie sensor.

The realme 6 Pro is not modest in this regard, but it does not reach the heights of the Xiaomi device. It features a 64-megapixel main sensor, which is flanked by an 8-megapixel wide angle, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. However, in the global computation of sensors they end up tied, since the realme 6 Pro has a dual 16 + 8 megapixel selfie camera.

Battery and connections

The battery of the Realme 6 Pro reaches 4,300 mAh , counting on the most advanced fast charge on the market, OPPO‘s VOOC 4.0 that allows it to charge from 0 to 100% in about 57 minutes with a 30W charge. The Mi Note 10 increases to 5,260 mAh , a much higher autonomy, which also has a 30W fast charge but somewhat slower, reaching 0% to 100% of the charge in about 65 minutes.

Both have the main connections such as NFC, Bluetooth 5 and maintain the 3.5 mAh headphone jack. Both are supported by Android 10 with the Realme UI and MIUI 11 layers. However, it is possible that Realme 6 will receive one more update of the Operating System, since it is native Android 10, while the Mi Note 10 was updated from Android 9 Pie.

Very disparate prices

There is a lot of price difference at the moment between both devices. The Realme 6 Pro can be purchased right now for 299 euros in its version of 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The Mi Note 10 in its only version of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, goes up to 409 euros.
