This Chinese company wants to stand up to Xiaomi and they are already sowing doubts among many users, when choosing a brand or another. Today we are going to buy two models such as the realme 5 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi 7, to see the advantages of one over the other and the main differences.
The first thing that attracts attention is that both terminals are practically traced in terms of their screen. It has the same size, resolution, aspect ratio and pixels per inch. That is, a 6.3-inch FullHD + panel with 19.5: 9 and 409 dots per inch.

When we lift the hood we find that it really has an advantage by having subsequently launched. That is, we have a Snapdragon 712 processor compared to the Snapdragon 660 of the Redmi Note 7. The Realme terminal can have 4 or 8 gigabytes of RAM, while the Redmi Note 7 reaches a maximum of 4 GB of RAM. In both terminals we can have 128 GB of maximum storage, which can be expanded by microSD cards up to 256 GB.
The number of cameras
In the cameras section we also find a big difference, and the Realme 5 Pro has four cameras, including macro, wide angle and depth sensor. The main sensor reaches 48 megapixels, something that we also see in the double camera of the Redmi Note 7, which in this case is only accompanied by a depth sensor of 5 megapixels. The Realme selfie camera is 16 megapixels and 13 megapixels in the case of Xiaomi.
Connections and battery
We find the main connections in both devices, and in the security section, both have a fingerprint sensor located at the rear. Nor are there many differences in the batteries, since the realme 5 Pro reaches 4,035 mAh with a fast charge of 20W compared to 4,000 mAh of the Redmi Note 7 and fast charge of 18W. Both move with Android 9 Pie and their respective customization layers, although it is expected to be updated to Android 10 during 2020.
Prices and conclusion
If we take a look at the prices and to compare both terminals more fairly, we will take a look at the 128 GB version of memory and 4 GB of RAM of the Redmi Note 7, which is available for about 199 euros . The same price has the realme 5 Pro, since the variant with 8 GB of RAM goes up to 249 euros. At the same price, it is more worth launching for the realme 5 Pro, a newer mobile, a more advanced processor and cameras according to the current trend.
