We have been without a Xiaomi launch for a week and a half and that, within the Chinese company, should not sit very well. That’s why everything is ready to launch a new compendium of cheap mobiles in the form of Redmi 9 whose characteristics have already been leaked days ago.
Xiaomi is expected to announce the Redmi 9 series later this month in multiple markets, including Spain where this range of phone has had great success similar to that of the Redmi Note. Although there is still no confirmation from the Chinese brand, it is expected that the 3 Redmi 9 models that the firm will launch see the light on June 25 in Vietnam.
Apparently, this time we would go from Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A to Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and a Redmi 9C that would have common characteristics and some slight distinction in order to reach stores with different prices. Regarding the design, everyone should keep the lines and shapes that we see in this filtered image of the Redmi 9 that advances the commercialization of the device in two colors: green and purple (although it is possible that it will come in more shades).
This image of the mobile has just appeared on Weibo, anticipating that the smartphone will be presented with a quad camera in the back, while the rest of the models would keep 3 lenses, losing the ToF located in the upper right, double the LED flash of the mobile. Also according to the image, the phone seems to be equipped with a polycarbonate back with a slightly rough texture.
When and how?
As we have said, it is scheduled to be presented at the end of the month in the Asian continent and thanks to the leak of last week we know that, at least this Redmi 9, would boast a 6.5-inch FullHD + LCD panel with a hole drilled in the central top. In the limelight is a Helio G80 CPU along with up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
The Redmi 9 could house a 5,000 mAh battery and an 18 W fast charger could be present inside its box so we could charge the device in just two hours. With an 8-megapixel front camera, the phone’s back panel would house a 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system as well as a fingerprint reader that would relocate to the side of the phone.
Its price should start at 129 euros to change, but it is something still pending confirmation.
