Google has become more than just a means to find solutions or resolve doubts. Since the landing of Android, the search engine has been implementing more tools to cover more needs, or simply to entertain. This is the case of the following function that we are going to show, and that is that we can put animals in 3D for our photos .
Thanks to the artificial intelligence of the search engine, you can reproduce a long list of animals in the living room, a room or anywhere outside. The app decorates the photo with a realism that is even surprising. Of course, the enjoyment of augmented reality is not available to all terminals, depending on whether they have ARCore technology .
What is ARCore?
It is an augmented reality technology, which is what allows you to recreate these animals on the camera interface, although as we have mentioned a few lines above, it is not compatible with all Android devices. The reason is that this service requires several requirements to function properly and to make an accurate reading of the environment. For this, you need a smartphone that has sensors such as the gyroscope and accelerometer, in addition to the most important thing, that has Andorid 7.0 at least. 
To check the compatibility of the smartphone, we can check it on the official Google website with the full list. If we meet those requirements, there will be no problem, although it may not be installed by default despite being a Google service, so it will have to be downloaded in the store. On the other hand, if we do not have any of the conditions, but do have good hardware, we can try to install these services externally, through an APK. To prove that it does not remain, the worst thing that can happen is that it does not work correctly , there is no type of risk for our smartphone.
In the event that we meet the requirements, but the option does not appear on the screen, the solution is really simple. Firstly, we check if we have all the apps updated, that is, both Google, Google Chrome and Google Services. In the same way, we check if the browser has camera permissions activated, and delete cache data if necessary. Finally, we reboot the device to determine the changes.
How to activate 3D animals
Once we have everything ready, all that remains is to test that augmented reality. First of all, we go to the Google application – or Google Chrome – and enter the animal we want in the search engine. As an example, we have chosen the penguin, which could have been seen in some part of Spain in recent days. When looking for it, an explanation of the animal appears as the first result, an image and a little further down, an option called “View in 3D” . 
If we click there, we must accept the storage permissions, and then click “See in your space”. Automatically, it will take us to the camera interface, with the environment we are focusing on at that time and with the penguin present. In addition, it is an element which we can modify its size in the image , so that it looks good in a most peculiar photo.
