The first thing we must do is enter the IP configuration of the Movistar decoder by touching a button on the remote control. The process is simple in current models: we turn on the decoder, turn it off using the remote control, wait a minute and turn it back on. While we turn it on, we must press several times on the “+” button of the Movistar remote control.

Once we have done it, we will see that a new screen opens on the television: we will have accessed the Movistar deco configuration button where we will see sections such as Network / Video / Others and we can use the arrows on the remote to move through them. the different menus and reset the decoder.

In “Others” we will see a series of information: manufacturer, date, software version, hardware version and firmware version … And, at the bottom of the page, we will see the inscription “Factory reset”.
