In addition, you should also keep in mind that this will restore the factory values and erase data that you may have in some applications, in which you will have to log in again once we finish the process.

The first thing we must do is enter the IP configuration of the Movistar decoder by touching a button on the remote control. The process is simple in current models: we turn on the decoder, turn it off using the remote control, wait a minute and turn it back on. While we turn it on, we must press several times on the “+” button of the Movistar remote control.
Once we have done it, we will see that a new screen opens on the television: we will have accessed the Movistar deco configuration button where we will see sections such as Network / Video / Others and we can use the arrows on the remote to move through them. the different menus and reset the decoder.
In “Others” we will see a series of information: manufacturer, date, software version, hardware version and firmware version … And, at the bottom of the page, we will see the inscription “Factory reset”. We use the control of the remote control to go down in the corresponding window and it will appear in green when it is selected. Confirm with the remote button and wait for the process to complete.
After a few seconds or a few minutes, we will see that it has been reset correctly and a message on the screen will indicate that the channels are being tuned, so we will only have to wait, confirm with “accept” and access all our services again if it has been done. deleted the username and password of any of them.
If nothing works…
If none of this works, you can contact the operator so that they send a technician to explain what could have happened or to do the pertinent tests and check where the error is, in addition to fixing the decoder failures as soon as possible or checking if you need to replace it with a new model.
