Bluetooth is still a basic connection on any smartphone. Thanks to this connectivity we can have hands-free in the car or listen to music with our brand new wireless headphones. However, Bluetooth problems can arise at any time and undermine our experience, making it impossible for us to connect to any device .
LG mobiles are not exempt from these problems, although it is easy to solve them if we touch the appropriate keys. When the user begins to perceive that something is wrong, the devices that were previously paired no longer do so, or it is even impossible to share files with other devices using this method. Luckily, and unless we are facing a possible, but unlikely hardware problem with the Bluetooth antenna , we can solve the problem ourselves.

Tests the terminal for faults
This should be our first stop, since not in vain, LG integrates its own tool to be able to diagnose hardware failures in the system. If something goes wrong with the Bluetooth connectivity, our LG will offer us advice to fix it. The tool can be found as an app integrated into the system and called “Smart Doctor” . Once inside we will have to click on “Test hardware” and wait for the entire analysis process to finish in search of faults.
Review energy savings
Sometimes economy modes can interfere between different connections in order to save energy. A specific app or Bluetooth connectivity itself may have been disabled. This setting is usually activated automatically when the battery is low, but it may be better if Bluetooth works properly. In order to check it, we will have to go to System Settings / General / Battery / Energy Saver. We will have to verify that all modes are disabled and try again.
Case or shell problem
If the problems with the Bluetooth are recent, and coincide with the purchase of a new case or cover, we may have the culprit of the problems here. Many of these third-party accessories may contain metallic elements that interfere with the before connection of our mobile, and therefore in the Bluetooth. The solution is as simple as removing the cover and testing Bluetooth connectivity again.
Reset network settings
Another solution that gives excellent results is to reset the network settings of our LG. On many occasions, the Bluetooth cache may become saturated with devices. To free bluetooth from all the previous configurations and adjustments that we have been able to carry out, we will have to reset the network settings. We can do it from Settings / System / Restart / Reset.
Clear the cache partition
When all the previous methods have failed, we will have the option to delete the cache partition with all the temporary files . It is possible that this method ends up fixing the Bluetooth on our LG mobile. The good news is that this action does not delete your photos or other files. In order to do so, we will have to follow these steps:
- Turn off our LG mobile
- We turn on the mobile by holding down the power buttons and raising the volume at the same time.
- Release when LG logo appears
- With the volume keys, we place ourselves on “wipe cache cache partition” and confirm with the “power” key.
- We wait for the process to finish
