They started with Instagram Reels , as we already mentioned in another article, and now it is the turn of other functionality that, although it has not occurred to them, enhances the interaction with your followers. Highlight the best comments on Instagram
As we mentioned, this new functionality is not something that the developers of the “little camera” app came up with. We can already do this on other platforms such as YouTube , with the exception that on Instagram we can anchor up to 3 different comments in the same publication. However, on YouTube we will only have one option.
This feature is very useful, since it will serve to highlight the best comments left by users who follow your account, placing their comments as the first on the list. Furthermore, they will receive a notification indicating that you have carried out this action. It may seem silly but, that someone you follow decides to highlight something you have said is probably because they find it interesting, and this is something that we all like. Now, how is the process carried out?
How to post comments on Instagram
Fixing one or several comments within your publications is a tremendously simple process and, currently, you can already do it with any account and from any mobile device with which you access Instagram. And no, from the browser it is not yet possible to pin a comment.
The first thing you should do is log in with your user account in the Instagram application from your smartphone. Then you must access your profile, click on one of the photos on your wall and locate the comment in question that you want to highlight.
Now, to activate the function to fix the comment, you must press and hold it (if you have an Android device) or swipe from right to left on it (if you have an iPhone ). In this menu you will see the options to delete the comment, interact with the user (denouncing the comment, restricting it or blocking it) or the pin icon, which will allow you to leave it fixed. Once clicked, the comment will slide to the first position at the top of the list. If we leave this section and place ourselves in the photo view as we would normally see the feed , this comment is just the first one that appears just below our photograph.
Of course, just as you can pin a comment you can also undo it . Just follow the same process as before until you see the pushpin that will now be marked. Select it again and, in the menu that appears, click on the “Delete” option. This will automatically revert to the order you had before highlighting it.
