It is still early to see first-hand everything that the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has to offer us. The current best seller from the Chinese giant was officially presented not long ago, accompanied by a Pro version that looked more like a watch than a bracelet.
Although its launch is not expected for several weeks or months, now the new smart bracelet from Xiaom i, the Smart Band 8 (nothing from Mi Band 8), has just been detected by a certification body, and has already been he knows a lot about her. So much so that we have even been able to see the occasional image of the wearable from the Chinese firm.
It has been seen by the NRRA Korea certification site before its official launch, which is totally unknown at the moment, although it could see the light of day with the next Redmi Note 12 . This agency not only confirmed some of the technical characteristics of the device, but also revealed its design through two images.

From the little that is known, so far, about the new wearable device from the eastern giant is that this Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will work with Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and that its sensors placed on the back will be slightly different from the previous model. What happens is that the specifications of these new sensors are not known in detail, but we imagine that Xiaomi has improved several aspects of the connected bracelet, including perhaps the monitoring of the heart rate so that it is now much more accurate than before.
But, without a doubt, the main novelty of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is in the bracelet itself, since, as can be seen in the images, the device uses a detachable strap separated into two parts, which makes it much more similar to a watch than a Smartband to use. The images show that the bracelet is separated at the top and at the bottom, while, if we remember, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 used a one-piece bracelet, inside which the module had to be inserted. .
This would make it clear to us that the path to be followed by the firm from now on would be the one initiated by the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro , a wearable that also has a bracelet divided into two parts. The main difference here, however, is that the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 follows the pill-shaped design of its predecessor, not the rectangular shape of the Pro model.
What these photos seem to make clear to us is that the next smart device from the Chinese firm is going to be a mix between the two models that we currently find on the market, leaving the possible presence of a Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro in the air.
Today we know that the production of the equipment began last month, so the launch should arrive earlier than Xiaomi’s usual schedule. It is to be imagined that between May and June we will be able to officially find out about this new smart bracelet destined, once again, to dominate the sales of wearable terminals.
