We have repeated it a thousand times. The playable teaser with which Kojima surprised the world in 2014 is one of the best demos we have seen in recent years, and that is that in addition to the gameplay and the terrifying environment in which it introduces us, the adventure of PT . established a before and after in video game history.
The hall of terror

We have etched in our heads the continuous screeching sound with which the damn hallway greeted us. A right turn and a door at the end seemed to be the way to go, but we would soon discover that in PT nothing would make sense, and unfortunately we would have to keep crossing that door until we reach the end of the puzzle. The problem? A terrifying environment that made us have more than a bad time.
Such was the expectation that was generated around PT that the demo got a large number of players who struggled to endure the scares in order to complete the enigma, a riddle that finally ended up being that of Silent Hills , a game that Konami finished canceling and forcing the PT demo to disappear forever.
An unconditional love

But the game was so cool that other demos and experiences inspired by the famous corridor have been seen, and just that is what we have at Other Worlds, a true tribute to the Kojima demo that is looking for more than just a few-minute adventure .
Its creator, Juan Pablo Lopez, tells us that he is developing Other Worlds individually, and his idea is to be able to raise enough money to be able to create a complete version that, although it will have tints of PT, will have a completely different and original story. . Basically, the recreation of the hallway is serving to demonstrate the graphic capacity that the demo can achieve, and that it will be able to reach with the completed game.
Play the free demo
With the idea of being able to offer the possibility of testing the game and its possibilities, the demo of Other Worlds can be downloaded completely free through the Gamejolt website, and its creator is waiting to raise around 5,500 euros to continue with the work and finish the development of the full version, which he hopes to offer between 6 and 8 hours long.
