Telegram has established itself as the eternal alternative to WhatsApp for chatting on mobile devices. It offers advanced features that have always been ahead of the Facebook-owned app, but the download share in Google Play is still far below. This time, it is another option that we can use from now on, which is used to organize Telegram chats by folders .
It is a function that was just launched a few days ago in the last update of the app, which arrives to expand the wide range of tasks that we can perform within Telegram, which is saying a lot. In fact, we are going to show you how to have the folders well divided so that there is an order in our chats.
Why should I organize my chats?
It is something that seems very necessary, since almost always the disorder Telegram reigns, used to have a mixture of groups, individual chats, channels, bots, which causes an immense accumulation of open conversations . In this way, we will have everything better classified to give you greater preference for the chats that we consider important, which are usually groups with friends or family and private chats.
However, there is no reason to do it that way, since we can classify folders as we want with a capacity of up to 100 chats . In fact, it is possible to combine any element in each section or folder, including private chats with bots and channels, for example.
How to organize folders
When we are in the Telegram app, we access the sidebar through the icon with three horizontal stripes or by sliding to the right. We go to the “Settings”, and in that menu, just a little further down, we find the “Folders” section. 
Once there, we can add new folders, although before that the app suggests recommended folders with chats already entered. If we want to select the distribution of chats ourselves, click on “Create new folder”, and then click on “Add Chats”. Also “Delete chats” if we want to leave out a conversation, to seek greater accessibility. 
Telegram differentiates between various types of items, such as those discussed above and even more, such as Saved Messages or contacts that we do not have added to the agenda. Once the chats that we are going to introduce in the folder are selected, it only remains to put a name and save the task performed. When we return to the main Telegram menu, we will see on the one hand the folders created, and on the other, the rest of the conversations that we have not included, leaving the entire interface much more organized .
