Our mobile can be correctly connected to a Wi-Fi network, but sometimes we have the feeling that the speed should be higher. OPPO mobiles have advanced network capabilities, but we can also make the Wi-Fi speed improve if we consider some simple tricks to achieve it.
On other occasions we have seen the problems that can occur with Wi-Fi, since it is very common not to be able to connect to networks or that they are constantly disconnected. On this occasion, we are talking about being correctly connected to Wi-Fi, and even being able to navigate smoothly, but without being able to achieve that desired point of speed.
Tips to increase Wi-Fi speed on OPPO
Luckily there are several tricks or functions with which our OPPO mobile will allow us to play, in order to improve the speed of the Wi-Fi network.
Use Game Space
OPPO mobiles have Game Space, that is, the game manager that allows you to optimize games. Its main functions include network acceleration to increase speed and reduce latency by more than 80%. For this we will have to go to Game Space and add all the apps in which we want to increase the Internet speed , since in addition to games, we can add apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp or even the web browser.
Desaturate the Wi-Fi network
Connecting too many devices to the same router can lead to difficulties accessing the internet after Wi-Fi is connected . In this case, we can establish a static IP for each device that the router connects and try again.
Disconnect other devices
It is normal that we have other devices (TV, smart devices, tablets, PCs …) connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If we want our mobile to have all the bandwidth and improve speed, we will have to try to disconnect some network devices, since we may notice a significant improvement in speed.
Close background apps
Applications running in the background may be consuming network resources, which makes our experience less than optimal. To improve the speed we must click on the recent applications button and close all except those in which we want to have a better speed with Wi-Fi.
Always scan
One of the options within the Network Settings, will allow our OPPO mobile to always scan for Wi-Fi networks , which will serve as a warning in case we find an open network with better connectivity than the current one. It is an ideal option outdoors whenever we connect to open Wi-Fi networks. To activate the function we go to Settings / Wi-Fi / Settings / Advanced settings and activate Scan always available.
Reset Wi-Fi settings
Sometimes, either due to the adjustments we have made or as a result of a bad configuration, the speed of the Wi-Fi can be affected . The best thing in this case is to reset your settings. To do this, we go to Settings / Application Administration / Everything and look for the wireless configuration. Then we clear its data and cache and connect to the Wi-Fi network again to see if the speed has improved.
