OPPO has already shown its cards for 2021 with the launch of the Find X3 family. The three devices are already on sale in Spain and as usual, many users have doubts about which one is better to buy. We are therefore going to see the differences between them, which are not few.
The interpretation of the ranges is simple. The OPPO Find X3 Pro is the most powerful and advanced of the whole family, followed by the OPPO Find X3 Neo and the Find X3 Lite. The latter may be the most modest, but not the least interesting for many users.
Very different screens
The screen size is different on all devices. The Find X3 Pro is the largest at 6.67 inches , followed by the Find X3 Neo’s 6.55 inches and the Find X3 Lite’s 6.43 inches. The Neo and the Lite match their FullHD + resolution with 1080 x 2400 pixels, compared to the 3216 x 1440 pixels of the Find X3 Pro. Another difference is that only the Pro model has IP68 protection against water and dust.
Weight and thickness in ladder
It’s funny how the scale is reversed when we talk about weight and thickness. In this case, the Find X3 Lite is the least heavy and the thinnest, with its 7.9 millimeters and 180 grams of weight. Going up a notch we have the Find X3 Neo with its 184 grams and 8 millimeters, followed by the Pro model with 193 grams and 8.3 millimeters thick. Another big difference is that only the Find X3 Pro has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, compared to 90 Hz for its siblings.
The seal of Snapdragon on all
Of course, it must be clear that all three have different brains. We can say that the Find X3 Pro plays the highest level of 2021 with the Snapdragon 888 . However, the Find X3 Neo does not do badly, with the most powerful processor of 2020 and that we also consider high-end, with the Snapdragon 865. The play is finished with the Snapdragon 765G of the Find X3 Lite, which in this case we are before a mid-range chip. However, they are all compatible with 5G networks.
There are versions of 256 GB of internal memory and 12 GB of RAM in both the Find X3 Pro and the Find X2 Neo. The Find X3 Lite is left with 128 GB of memory and 8 GB of RAM, but neither can be expanded using microSD cards. The X3 Pro and Neo have the UFS 3.1 standard versus the UFS 2.1 standard of the Find X3 Lite.
The power of cameras
With the cameras there are logical differences in each price range, perhaps more in the Find X3 Pro compared to its brothers, but the difference is clearly staggered in price range. The Find X3 Pro stands out for its two 50-megapixel sensors , a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and an industry-first microscopic sensor. In Find X3 Neo it keeps the main 50 megapixel sensor and the 13 megapixel telephoto lens, but then it has a 16 megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2 megapixel macro sensor.
The most “modest” combination is in the Find X3 Lite, with a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and 2-megapixel macro and depth sensors each. All three have the same 32 megapixel selfie sensor housed in a hole in their screen. All three record at a maximum 4K resolution but only the Find X3 Pro does so at 60fps compared to 30fps for its siblings.
Connections and battery
Forget about the headphone jack on all models except the Find X3 Lite. However, they all have the main connections, including NFC, Bluetooth 5 and a fingerprint sensor on the screen. We also see that the battery is the same in the Find X3 Pro and the X3 Neo, with 4,500 mAh and a fast charging of 65W. This capacity drops in the Find X3 Lite with 4,300 mAh but with the same 65W fast charge.
Price details
It is obvious that the distance between the Find X3 Pro and the Find X3 Lite is abysmal in price. There is no less than 700 euros of difference between both models. At an intermediate point is the Find X3 Neo with its 799 euros, a price that can be very attractive given its proven power and hardware at the height of 2021. The prices of the three devices are:
