When working with our equipment, we use a large number of applications, folders and files in it. What can Okular do for us?
Say that the stable version of Windows 10 is in the official operating system store, the Microsoft Store. Thus, once the program has been downloaded and installed, we find an intuitive user interface in Spanish. First, in the left side panel we find shortcuts to the Content, Thumbnails, Reviews and Bookmarks sections.
The first option shows the sections that are part of the loaded document, if any. Meanwhile Thumbnails let us see a preview of each page of it, while Revisions contains the annotations that have been made. In this way and thanks to Okular, we will have direct access to open, manipulate and modify a large number of files , both text and images.
Keep in mind that, as is easy to assume, the blank space on the right is the display panel of the files loaded into the program . Once the image or document is loaded in Okular, by clicking with the right mouse button we can copy contents to the clipboard or add a bookmark.
By changing the third, the toolbar at the top can be used to navigate pages, set a zoom setting for photos, or to make custom selections. We also have a series of menus in the main interface, all of them quite simple and intuitive. These will help us when it comes to managing bookmarks , moving through loaded documents, selecting parts, or setting up the program.
The latter is found in the Preferences / Configure Okular menu where we can set certain operating parameters and aspect of the application. This will allow us to improve its performance, adapt accessibility, or customize the annotations we take.
