Realme had already anticipated the great news of its new flagship before but it was not until a few minutes ago that we were able to know all the official characteristics and the price of the new Realme 8 Pro that lands today.
The smartphone arrives with Android 11 and Realme UI 2.0 as well as with a 108 MP camera that the brand was already in charge of advancing a few weeks ago, but also with a SuperAMOLED panel and a large capacity battery with ultra-fast charge. SuperAMOLED screen and exclusive design
The new Realme 8 Pro arrives in stores boasting a lighter and thinner design (thickness of 8.1 mm and weight of 176 grams) thanks to the use of a Full HD (2400 x 1080 px) Super AMOLED screen of 6.4 inch that features a touch sample rate of up to 180Hz for better responsiveness when playing a game. The brightness can reach up to 1000 nits under the sunlight mode. In addition, the mobile phone has a fingerprint sensor right on the screen, for a more natural, reactive and faster unlocking than the traditional button method.
The phone has been developed with an AG glass process that mimics the constellation effect through a new anti-reflective glass process. Anti-reflective frosted particles enlarge and brighten, creating a micro-texture that gives a deep sense of dimension. The result is a natural glass finish that combines gloss and matte on a rough and delicate surface.
Performance “made in qualcomm”
The new smartphone from the young technology brand is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, with an 8-core and 8nm low-power design.
It is also Hi-Res Audio certified to guarantee high quality audio, Dual SIM, NFC and 128GB storage expandable up to 256GB. As for the RAM, we have a version with 6 GB. and another with 8 GB.
108 MP premium camera
The new Realme 8 Pro features the latest generation of Samsung‘s 108MP HM2 sensor, with 12000 x 9000 pixels and 9-in-1 pixel binning technology, thus enhancing photos taken in low light conditions. It also has the new In sensor Zoom technology that results in better and sharper 3x photos than with some optical telephoto lenses.
This sensor is accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide angle with f / 2.25 aperture with a 119º field of view, a 2 MP macro sensor and a black and white lens of the same resolution to generate better monochrome captures. At the video level we can record clips in 4K.
The phone’s camera launches new capture modes:
- Constellation mode with time-lapse video: The mobile will allow you to make time-lapse clips of the starry sky, gathering about twenty photographs taken in a period of 480 seconds to generate a clip of the night sky.
- Tilt-shift photography: Using a new algorithm and editing software, the Realme 8 Pro can capture these “miniaturized” photos that make us see the world as if it were a mockup by means of different capture adjustment settings, to change the shape, angle, position, and size of the bokeh effect applicable to the background.
- New portrait filters : Neon Portrait, Dynamic Bokeh Portrait, and AI Color Portrait.
At the front, in the aforementioned hole in the screen, there is a 16 MP sensor, a Sony IMX471 that has an f / 2.45 aperture and allows the user to use AI tools to beautify the face.
50W load
The mobile incorporates a 4,500 mAh battery and a 50W fast charge, which allows maximum autonomy in just 47 minutes. The SuperDart Charge system combines high voltage technology, optimizing power up to 97% while protecting all layers of the battery. In addition, by activating the Super Energy Saving mode, 5% of the battery can last 32 hours on standby or 98 minutes on a call, which guarantees that you never get stranded with the mobile turned off.
