In times so given to making purchases, whether for ourselves or gifts for others, you may be pondering the option of buying an iPad. If you are not very into the matter, you may have a lot of doubts about whether it is a good idea to do it now. Well, we will see in all the ranges, which one is more suitable to buy and which one is not, with their respective reasons.

The input range is always a safe value
The plain iPad, the one without any nickname, is always an interesting option. It is the cheapest Apple tablet, but despite this it offers very good performance. It is perhaps not aimed at everyone, since for the most demanding it will fall short. However, it offers good features for consuming multimedia content, taking notes, drawing with the Apple Pencil and even playing games. It is undoubtedly the family iPad that can be used by mother and father, but also by older, medium and young children.

The bad thing about this iPad is that it currently has very little availability in stores due to the component crisis that plagues the technology sector. If you are lucky and find availability, do not hesitate to get it. The current 9th generation model was launched in September and until this month of 2022 it will not be renewed, so it will not get “old” so quickly.
The ‘mini’ and ‘Air’ are also a success
The renewed 6th generation iPad mini arrived in September and no renewal is expected until at least 2023. Therefore, it will remain Apple’s best small tablet for a long time. Its price is perhaps not as affordable as the previous one (from 549 euros), but if you are looking for an off-road tablet that you can always carry with you, it is the ideal one.

The same happens with the 4th generation iPad Air , which is practically identical in performance and design to the iPad mini, only with a larger size up to 10.9 inches. Its renewal is scheduled for September and although it will bring interesting improvements, it does not seem that the current one is going to be far behind. Its price of 629 euros makes it excessive for those looking for a basic use, but it is excellent for those looking for something more power for professional use without reaching the top of the ‘Pro’.
Think about it if you are going to get an iPad Pro
The current iPad Pro with the M1 chip are an absolute beast when it comes to performance. Now, its renewal is the closest . It is expected that in March or April they will be renewed and therefore you run a double risk: on the one hand, that you like the new one more and want it. On the other, that those of 2021 have dropped in price and are much cheaper.
iPad Pro (2021)
We always prioritize the “carpe diem” to recommend a purchase and if you are already convinced of the purchase, you will still enjoy it. Now, if it is a whim that is not in a hurry, you may want to wait. Especially if you opt for the 11-inch one , since next year’s one will bring a miniLED panel that until now only has the 12.9-inch model and that, far from being a minor change, we assure you that it shows a lot.
If the one you are going to choose is the biggest one, really drastic changes are not expected. Reverse wireless charging, 5G improvement or small changes in the design point to be the main and only novelties. Therefore, even if you buy the current model, you would not lose excessively. The good thing about this is that they are the ones with the best availability , so you could release them at the moment.
