The sales expectations of the iPhone this year are surely not what the company expected, one of its most surprising data, although not so much, being the fact that there are far fewer people interested in the iPhone 14 than in the Pro models.
Being all of them high-end models and with a higher price than estimated, the basic iPhone 14 does not provide much more than its predecessors, so lovers of the latest Apple trends have chosen to switch to the versions of the iPhone 14 Pro more expensive, but also more innovative and with better features.
There are even those who have directly opted to buy models from previous years, now cheaper, with high performance and still several years of updates by the brand.

The investment house JP Morgan has a tool called Apple Product Availability Tracker that analyzes delivery times around the world and in various countries, and clearly shows us this trend.
First of all, it should be clarified that the delivery time is the time that passes from when the order is placed until it is carried out. The usual thing is that the longer this time is because the demand exceeds the supply. It’s something that happens with iPhone every year. The models that are in higher demand take longer to arrive than others.
Global delivery times right now for iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are 2, 2, 29, and 30 days, respectively. Somewhat less than last week, but showing clear evidence that the most basic models are unattractive to consumers.
In fact, the delivery times of the most basic iPhone are much lower than the equivalents of the iPhone 13 at the same stage of its launch. This clearly shows that the demand for it is very modest.
If we look at the United States, the delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the iPhone 14 Pro are 32 days, although the previous week the Pro Max had a waiting time of 39 days. This time is only 2 days on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus , when last year with the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini it was 11 days on the same date.
Although these figures are from the United States, in the rest of the countries the trend is similar, as can be seen in the global results. There are even some with next-day delivery on the most basic models, which shows that their sales are not as good as the company could imagine, and much worse than last year.
In Spain the trend is similar , in fact, there is a lack of stock of the Pro models . They are currently out of stock in all colors and memory versions. Not so, in the basic models, in which there are still stocks due to low demand.
It is clear that the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro models are the most successful of the brand this year, the figures prove it, although the most desired is the iPhone 14 Pro Max. What do you think about it?
