New Redmi 9A and 9i Sport. Great price when sacrificing your camera

To no one’s surprise, since Xiaomi launches smartphones like hotcakes, the brand has presented two new devices, or rather old devices, as they are part of the Redmi 9 family, just when the Redmi 10 has already arrived in Spain. It is about the new Redmi 9A Sport and Redmi 9i Sport and … they really are so similar to the Redmi 9A that it is difficult to find a meaning.

The Redmi 9A Sport and Redmi 9i Sport are identical to the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9i , but with new colors. Nothing more. They will be on sale today in India from regular resellers such as Amazon or on mi.com for a price of Rs 6,999 for the 2GB + 32GB variant and Rs 7,999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant of the Redmi 9A Sport. The Redmi 9i Sport will be priced at Rs 8,799 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 9,299 for the 4GB + 128GB variant. That is, around 100 euros to change.

A clone of a clone?

Both phones come in carbon black, coral green and metallic blue color options and as we have said, what stands out the most about the phones is their price, achieved at the cost of sacrificing some specifications such as those of the camera, just as it happened with the Redmi 9A. .

Both devices feature the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset but the 9A Sport will be paired with 2GB or 3GB RAM options, both with 32GB of internal storage, while the Redmi 9i Sport chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Redmi phones have a 6.53-inch HD + IPS LCD panel with 1600 × 720 pixels on the front. The display glows up to 400 nits and is TÜV Rheinland certified.
