Huawei last week launched its top of the range with support for panoramic virtual reality backgrounds, wallpapers that have virtual elements that completely change the appearance of your phone. Today, the company has released the official theme with these panoramic backgrounds of the Huawei P40 on its network, expanding the number of devices that can use them.
What are panoramic wallpapers?
The company has officially released three theme sets featuring VR virtual reality widescreen wallpapers: Infinite Aurora Vision VR Panorama, Brilliant Star River VR Panorama, and Senlu Xianlu VR Panorama. The company says this feature breaks the limits of time and space by incorporating different elements into the desktop and lock screen. Basically they are dynamic wallpapers that move at the same time that you move the device, adding elements of depth and gravity that generate a quite different feeling when using the mobile.
Compatible Models
This novelty that allows us to personalize the brand’s mobiles is not limited to the P40 series phones presented days ago, but is already available for multiple brand devices, as well as for some Honor smartphones.
These panoramic VR wallpapers can be activated on phones in the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 30 range, as well as on the newly launched P20, P30 and P40 series.On the other hand, the Honor V20 and Honor V30 come with support for this new feature.
We have tried to find these new wallpapers through the theme application of our Huawei Mate 20 and, for the moment, we have not found it. We imagine that the first users who can use these wallpapers will be, once again, those based in China, the native country of Huawei. Soon after, these brand wallpapers will expand to more regions.
Of course, it must be remembered that, as with other dynamic wallpapers or the possibility of using videos as wallpaper , logically implies a higher energy consumption.
