New Apple Series in 2021 and Second Seasons of Others

Apple TV + does not stop and there is no month in which it does not release new content with which to try to extend its catalog of series and films so criticized for its scarcity. In fact, every Friday it premieres at least one episode of one of its series. In recent weeks, the premiere of some highly anticipated has been confirmed, as well as the second seasons of very popular series. If you had not found out, write everything down because we remind you what those key dates are.

New seasons of Ted Lasso, See, TMS and Truth Be Told

The Apple TV + reveal series starring Jason Sudeikis will return on July 23. And it is that Ted Lasso arrives with its second season after sweeping the first installment by receiving a multitude of nominations and awards, including the prestigious Golden Globes. Its first two chapters will be released that day 23 and then every Friday a new one will be broadcast every week.

Truth Be Told will be the next to return on August 20 . It will follow the same line as Ted Lasso with the broadcast of weekly chapters after his return. The series will tell new stories from the fictional journalist Poppy Scoville-Parnell, played by Octavia Spencer. One of the pioneering series of the platform and whose second season was one of the first to be confirmed.

See , the series starring Jason Momoa and whose first season had an even more expensive production level than Game of Thrones, will return on August 27 with new episodes that will be broadcast on a weekly basis. The series will continue with the same storyline opened in the first season, set in a future society that has lost its sight and only a select few have that gift.

One of the big stars of the Apple TV + catalog is The Morning Show , which features a well-known cast led by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. It will be on September 17 when the first episodes will be broadcast, which will give rise to the rest in the following weeks. Much is expected of this new season of the series set in the ins and outs of a (fictional) morning television show.

New series coming soon

And of the completely new series that will come to the platform we started with Schmigadoon! , a musical series that opens this Friday telling the story of a magical town where a couple of backpackers arrive who will not be able to leave there until they find true love. A musical comedy with certain touches of The Wizard of Oz and a new chapter will be broadcast every week.

Mr. Corman is another new series that will arrive on August 6 . Comedy tells the story of a frustrated artist turned teacher, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Corman experiences a bad time in his life when he starts a new job, at the same time that his wife has left him and his best friend moves to keep him company. A comedy that promises to give a lot to talk about.

mr corman apple tv+ Foundation is the series called to forever mark the Apple TV + platform. Based on the popular saga of novels by Isaac Asimov, this science fiction series finally has a date set for September 24 , the day when we can enjoy the first episodes before giving way to the broadcast of the rest in the following weeks. Considered one of the best science fiction sagas in history, the trailers already reflect the level of production that has been carried out for the adaptation.

On the other hand we will meet Invasion on October 22 . Another new series very different from the previous ones, focused on a fictional alien invasion on earth told from different characters and perspectives around the world. Whether or not you are a fan of this genre, surely the trailer will not leave you indifferent.

Last but not least, we will meet ‌The Shrink Next Door with a premiere on Friday , November 12 . This new miniseries is based on real events narrated by the strange “celebrity psychiatrist”. A story that has not yet been seen much and of which we will probably receive new news in the form of a teaser or trailer in the coming months, since it is (for now) the last production in Apple series that will be released in 2021.
