If it is not easy to opt for a mobile among the wide offer available in the market, sometimes it is not easy to do it within the same brand. Motorola has filled the past 2019 with very interesting launches, among which are the Motorola One Vision and Moto G8 Plus. Today we wanted to compare both terminals to try to help you in that purchase decision.
The first thing that catches our attention is that the screen of both terminals is practically traced. That is, they have the same size of 6.3 inches and FullHD + resolution . However, the Motorola One Vision sports a more “stretched” aspect ratio with its 21: 9, compared to the more traditional 19: 9 of the G8 Plus.
The pixel density per inch is also slightly wider in the One Vision with 432 pp compared to the 400 dpi of the G8 Plus . As for the weight, we see again that only one gram separates both terminals, while the Motorola One Vision is much thinner with its 8.7 millimeters compared to the 9.1 grams of the G8 Plus.

Exynos vs Snapdragon
When we lift the hood we find two very different processors. The Motorola One Vision sports the Exynos 9609 , whose performance has been shown slightly superior to the Snapdragon 665 of the Moto G8 Plus. Both terminals have 4 GB of RAM, but the internal memory is higher in the One Vision with 128 GB, compared to 64 GB of the Moto G8 Plus.
Double and triple camera
In the cameras section, the most recent arrival of the Moto G8 Plus gives it a certain advantage by having three sensors, led by a 48 megapixel lens, the same one found in the One Vision. However, the Moto G8 Plus has an ultra wide angle sensor of 16 megapixels, while the One Vision only has a second sensor of 5 megapixels for depth of field work. The front camera reaches 25 megapixels in both phones.
Android 10?
The two terminals have the main connections including NFC; Bluetooth 5 or USB Type-C. However, the autonomy is on the side of the Moto G8 Plus and its 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging of 18W, compared to 3,500 mAh and 15W of the One Vision. Both work with Android 9 Pie, although the One Vision should have some advantage of upgrading to Android 10 as part of the Android One program.
Price difference
At this time we can buy a Motorola One Vision for 229 euros , compared to the 249 euros worth the Moto G8 Plus. In this way there is only a small difference of 20 euros. If one more sensor is not decisive for you, we believe that the Motorola One Vision offers some more interesting incentives such as its better internal memory or processor performance.
