Motorola Moto G20: First Technical Characteristics and Possible Price

We continue to hear news about Motorola and its upcoming releases. Just a few days ago we witnessed the first major leak of the Moto G50 , and now the same is happening with the Moto G20. The name and having a lower number can make us suspect that we are facing a more modest terminal, but there is also the circumstance that it will arrive with an unexpected processor.

It is common for leaks to reveal technical data which terminals are about to come out. In the case at hand, we even have the possible price of the Motorola Moto G20 . But what most catches our attention is that the terminal could release a processor that we are not used to seeing in its terminals and that of other Android models.

A “different” processor

The Moto G20 has been seen in the famous Geekbench performance program and certified by the FCC, revealing some of its most important technical features. In addition, the same online store that recently revealed the price of the Moto G50, has done the same with this device. What is most striking is the inclusion of a Unisoc T7000 processor , which will come along with 4 GB of RAM and an ARM Mali-G52 GPU. Regarding the chip, it is only specified that it is an eight-core chip at a frequency of 1.8 Ghz.

At this point we must stop, and comment that Unisoc is one of the largest semiconductor companies in the world, with research centers in the US, India, Finland and China. Motorola has classically used chips from MediaTek and Qualcomm, but now plans to integrate Unisoc chips into some of its 2021 launches.

The results on Geekbench reveal entry-level performance, and we also know that it will come with 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and even FM radio . The FCC certification has also detailed that this Moto G20 will include a 5,000 mAh battery with a 10W charge.

Your possible presentation

Finally, an online store has revealed that the terminal will arrive at least in a version with 64 GB of internal memory at a price that is close to 150 euros. At the moment there is no official presentation date, neither of this Moto G20 nor of the previously leaked G50. But we do know that on March 25, Motorola will present the Moto G100 (also known as Motorola Edge S), so it would not be unreasonable to have more details that same day.
