Motorola has already shown many of its cards to deal with the necessary weapons to an uncertain 2020. While the company has once again made the leap to the high-end with the new Motorola Edge, it continues without neglecting the mid-range and entry-level, where much of the cake is distributed. Now, we have known the launch of the new Motorola G Fast , which we had previously heard of.
It is a reality that almost all mobiles are filtered before their official launch. In the case of the new Motorola Fast, a video was posted online a few days ago, and it is now when the firm has decided to officially show it. The terminal is somewhat reminiscent of the Moto G8, although it has more modest hardware, allowing it to further reduce its price and make it very attractive.
Technical characteristics
The terminal sports a 6.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution that stays in HD +, with an aspect ratio of 19: 9. The screen sports a hole at the top, to house the front sensor. Inside we find a modest Snapdragon 665 that comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
Triple camera (modest)
At the rear and as it is increasingly common even in the entry range, we find a triple rear camera with a 16-megapixel main sensor, and that is accompanied by an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel macro sensor. In the aforementioned hole of its front camera, we find an 8 megapixel sensor. The battery of this Moto G Fast is 4,000 mAh and has a standard 10W charge. The good news is that it comes standard with Android 10 and that it maintains the 3.5 headphone jack. Unfortunately it offers a microUSB port instead of USB-C.
Price and date of sale
The Moto G Fast will be available for pre-sale starting tomorrow, June 5 in the United States, to begin the first shipments from June 12. Its price has been set at 199.99 dollars (about 175 euros)
And in Spain?
Its possible launch in Spain is still a mystery. It is also not certain that if it reaches our market, it will do so under the name of Moto G Fast, as we remember that the Moto G Stylus recently came to Spain under the name of Moto G Pro. Furthermore, this Moto G Fast has arrived accompanied by a Moto E, which is the same Moto E6s that is already sold in Spain. We will therefore be very attentive to the movements of the firm with this new Moto G Fast, since it could be a great rival in the entry range for other brands such as Samsung or Xiaomi.
