During the latest Apple Spring event, Apple just announced a bunch of new products that will be released soon. From all the lineup that they have revealed, for us, the most exciting products that we are excited about are the new iMac design, the upgraded Apple TV 4K, and the new AirTag. The event called ‘’Spring Loaded’’ and was conducted virtually because of the pandemic but they do provide live coverage for the event.
The release date for all these products has not been announced yet for Apple (Malaysia), they will be available for pre-order in first wave countries including the US, Singapore, and Australia from 30th April and it will go on sale during the 2nd half of May 2021.
The New iMac Design
The new Apple iMacs were undoubtedly the biggest hit of Apple’s “Spring Loaded” event. The new iMac comes in a variety of 7 beautiful colors, including blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange, and purple, as well as a much more compact and surprisingly thin design. It is all thanks to the M1 chip that integrates the processor, graphics, and memory into a single chip which makes the iMac come in a slimmer and thinner design (11.5 millimeters thin), more lightweight, allowing it to fit in more ways than ever before.
It features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display with 11.3 million pixels, 500 nits of brightness, and over a billion colors that deliver a brilliant and vivid viewing experience.
Other new features include a 1080p FaceTime HD monitor, studio-quality microphones, and a six-speaker sound system—the best camera and audio ever in a Mac rolled into one device. Touch ID is now available on the iMac for the first time, you can find it on the keyboard. It allows users to log in safely and easily, make transactions with Apple Pay, and switch user profiles with the touch of a finger.
The New Generation Apple TV 4K
The new Apple TV 4K has been updated to better fit modern home theaters, with high frame rate HDR and Dolby Vision to immerse you in your favorite content with the best possible quality, thanks to the addition of an A12 Bionic processor. It is also now better suited to handle Apple’s latest services, especially its Apple TV Plus streaming platform and Apple Arcade video game offers.
There’s even a color balance feature that uses your iPhone’s light sensor to provide far more realistic colors and enhanced contrast on your TV — all without requiring you to change your television settings. Just point your iPhone at your TV screen once, then sit back and see how amazing your programmed and movies are supposed to look.
The Siri Remote, which has a brand-new interface, makes it easier to watch shows and movies on Apple TV thanks to its simple navigation controls. Apple TV 4K and tvOS, Apple’s most popular TV operating system, work together to seamlessly combine Apple devices and services, transforming your living room into a place that the whole family can enjoy.
The New Drop AirTag
While the other products released today are updates or new versions of previous models, the AirTag is a brand-new product. With the support of Apple’s Find My app, this tiny and elegantly built accessory lets you keep track of and find the things that are most important to you. The AirTag can be attached to a purse, keys, backpack, or other things.
The tracker, which includes a speaker, accelerometer, replaceable battery, and Bluetooth connectivity, will notify you when you are separated from your item. With AirTag, your privacy and security are protected. The site information on your iPhone or sent through the iCloud network is fully encrypted and there is zero location data stored on the AirTag.
