These will have their origin in the source of the system, a change that will not come only because the gallery continually brings new integrations and surely the last ones are for everyone to use and enjoy.
Xiaomi will use Mi Sans
Through the Sports Health application that Xiaomi is developing, it has been discovered that Mi Sans is practically ready. It is a new source that the application can adopt, as well as the rest of the system and of course all the apps created by Xiaomi. This is not something totally new, because Samsung or Huawei itself also have a typeface in their system that is not identical to the one offered by Android, which is usually Roboto.
In case it does not convince us, we can change the typography on Xiaomi phones as we could do before, although this Mi Sans has been studied to meet the needs of the user. When a company of great repute modifies its main font, it does so having studied the legibility, the contrast with the background and even the line spacing among other details. We will see once implemented in MIUI if it ends up convincing us, for the moment the first image presented in advance already lets us see what the characters will be like.

They also do not overlook the changes that will begin to be implemented as a test in MIUI 12.5, but that will end up reaching the vast majority with MIUI 13. The app we use to see the photos we take with our mobile also gives us access to others many multimedia contents and to make it easier to locate them, Xiaomi has decided to separate them based on the type of file.
From the update of the gallery , the GIFs, the bursts or the dynamic shots will have their own folder to be well organized, adding to these also the selfies or even the documents to find them easily. An integration focused on ensuring that the user has to make as few stumbles as possible until he reaches what he needs. In addition, the trash can and other tools in the gallery also change their resemblance, adapting to the vertical format.
However, without a doubt one of the changes that we will perhaps use the most when sharing content on social networks, especially it is something exclusive, is the new watermark. MIUI has already allowed us for several generations to add a simple one that went almost unnoticed, but now we can create a print all over the image without it becoming a difficulty. You just have to choose the name or text to include and it will be distributed automatically.
