Microsoft Flight Simulator: Available Versions, Planes and Airports

Yes, you will be able to download the new Flight Simulator for free, but for this you must have a subscription to Xbox Game Pass for PC . As expected, the Microsoft service has included its next game so that anyone who has a subscription can download it immediately. In fact, all those with access to the Xbox Game Pass catalog will be able to download it from today to prepare for the installation, and just have to run it on August 18 .

The edition that is included in Xbox Game Pass will be the standard one, although there will be two more versions with other extras that will be available for sale for all those who want to obtain all possible complements and extras.

What versions can we buy?

Microsoft Flight Simulator

In total, there will be three available versions of the game, and the main differences between them are the number of planes and airports they will offer:

  • Standard Edition : The basic version of the game with 20 perfectly detailed planes with flight models and 30 handmade airports.
  • Deluxe Edition : Add 5 more planes and 5 international airports designed in great detail.
  • Premium Deluxe Edition : A total of 10 extra planes in great detail and unique flight models, as well as 10 additional international airports recreated in detail.

Available planes

This is the official list of planes that will be available in the game depending on the version you purchase. As you will see below, the standard version of the game stays on all 20 aircraft, with 25 models for the Deluxe version and 30 for the Premium Deluxe. Unfortunately some models like the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner will be exclusive to the more complete version, but at least we know that the 747-8 Intercontinental will be available in the Standard.

Available airports

Although all the airports in the world will be in the game, only some will be recreated at the millimeter level, so it will be in these that we can move between tracks with total realism. It is worth mentioning that the Adolfo Suarez-Barajas airport cannot be enjoyed in great detail unless you have the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe version. Other popular airports such as San Francisco International or Hewthrow will be exclusive to the Premium Deluxe version.
