Windows 10 20H2 will be like a service pack

In other words, you could say that Windows 10 20H2 is version 2004 but with some additional features.
Therefore, on systems running version 2004, this 20H2 update will be delivered as a small software package that will be downloaded and installed in a few minutes. Therefore, by installing this package in the Windows 10 May 2020 update, the build number will be increased and the new implemented features will be enabled.

How to test the new Start menu right now in Windows 10

At the same time, among some other improvements, it includes the new Alt / Tab experience and a new icon for folders. It is worth mentioning that the new design of the Start Menu offers a more updated appearance by applying a uniform and partially transparent background to Live Tiles .
