Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition: Xiaomi Smart TV with 120 Hz for PS5

Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition

Xiaomi today presented its new Smart TVs in China, the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition , a new range that aims to offer one more step of benefits based on a very striking QLED panel and with which it aims to achieve the best image quality of the brand . These are all the features.

Now yes, 120 Hz

The first detail that we have looked for in the list of specifications of these new models is that of their soft drink. As you will surely remember, the new Xiaomi i TV P1 offered 120 Hz through MEMC, a technology that is nothing more than an interpolation of the image that repeats frames to offer greater smoothness, something that is not exactly what the owners of the new PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Well, the new Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition finally offers native 120 Hz, although it does not forget the MEMC function to bring lower frame rate content to the same level. The 120 Hz in 4K resolution is achieved thanks to the HDMI 2.1 input that it includes, a standard that we still do not know if it will be offered in a single port in all the HDMI ports that are included.

The best calibrated image at the moment

With the help of a new algorithm and with the MediaTek MT9950 processor, this new model will be able to optimize the image we see on the screen, achieving a quite striking image quality that will have very striking contrast thanks to its zone lighting system.

This zone lighting system will include from 100 to 255 lighting sectors depending on the size in inches, which will provide a tighter control of the areas to be lightened and darkened, thus achieving very defined and striking lights and shadows.

As if that were not enough, the Mi Tv 6 Extreme Edition includes a retractable webcam that will allow videoconferences from the system’s own interface.

How much will it cost?
