At last. Today is the day when we will see the best surprises that Microsoft has been hiding for a long time, since this afternoon the Xbox Games Showcase event will be held from which to learn all the news related to Microsoft’s first parties.
The first Halo Infinite Gameplay
Among the innovations that we will see today, the most famous and expected will be the first Halo Infinite gameplay running on Xbox Series X. Since it was presented at E3 in 2019, the game has continued its development period without offering any additional information. However, yesterday we were able to discover what will be the cover image of the game, and today we will finally see it in motion.
Where to watch the broadcast
The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. (in Spain) and Microsoft is expected to do a complete review of all the work that is in progress within its studies. That is the main and official broadcast, but an hour before, Geoff Keighley will present a new show of his Summer Game Fest in which a review will be made of everything that is to come and where we will possibly see some kind of exclusive in advance.
An event with a lot of responsibility
After the first review of the third parties that would come to Xbox Series X, fans harshly criticized the event for not having gameplay or great details that would serve to visualize the potential of Xbox Series X. Microsoft accepted the criticism, and promised that the Next event would be up to expectations, and we are in those.
After an excellent staging of PlayStation with the PS5 event, where in addition to fantastic games from PlayStation Studios the physical aspect of the console was finally presented, Microsoft today has the opportunity to return the ball to the roof of Sony.
Maturation of the ecosystem
With recent updates within the Xbox Game Pass subscription program, Microsoft has shown that they want to capture the user’s attention in any way, and for this they want to make things easy for everyone. Many of the games featured today will be included from launch day in the Xbox Game Pass catalog, making today’s event the perfect excuse to subscribe to the service.
What games do we expect to see?
Obviously we expect some other surprise in the form of a completely unknown game, but for now, we can almost assure that we will see the new installment of Halo, the expected Hellblade II , something new from Forza and we will see if more details of Project Mara , but be like An exciting afternoon of presentations awaits us.
