We all know that in just a month both the Google Pixel 4a 5G and the Google Pixel 5 should be official. Today the images that would advance the final design of the latter have just been filtered, but revealing a surprise that we did not expect. What is that Google Pixel 5s ?
Launched in October 2019, you can imagine that Google’s new phones will see the light of day next month, but by now a lot of information about the phones has leaked. Focusing on the “top of the range” the Google Pixel 5 , it would adopt the hole-in-the-screen design like the one seen in these supposed real photos of the mobile.
Behind it would be insisted on a square module to house the camera and a fingerprint sensor. The brand has not yet chosen to host it in the panel of the device but at least it takes this component back after the Google Pixel 4 disappeared completely. In addition, the frames of the device, at least in these photos, look somewhat thicker than expected.
What to expect from this… Google Pixel 5s?
The surprise comes to see how the screenshot of one of the photos advances a device called Google Pixel 5s of which, until now, we had no information. There is no more data on it but it could be a naming error or a version powered by more RAM and a better processor.
Given that Pixel phones tend to be quite focused on photography, you can imagine that Google will expand the storage of the Pixel 5 all the way to 128GB of space. We also expect an increase in RAM, which could go up from 6GB to 8GB. The other rumored Pixel 5 spec enhancements include a 6.67-inch display and a battery upgrade to mount a 4,000 mAh cell.
While the Pixel 4 went on sale with a pair of rear cameras, a standard lens, and a telephoto lens, given the trend of placing more cameras on the back of smartphones, we expect the Pixel 5 to come with a trio of rear cameras, probably adding a wide angle lens to the set.
It is expected that the new Google phone, called Google Pixel 5 or Google Pixel 5s , will go on sale for 699 euros the last week of this month, coinciding with the presentation of the brand’s new mobiles.
